For the second year in a row, one of the teams in the Super Bowl is playing on their home ground. The LA Rams bid to repeat the success of Tampa Bay last year and win in front of their home fans. The Rams are the NFC champions and are making their second Super Bowl appearance in four years. They'll hope to do better than in 2018 when losing 13-3 to the New England Patriots. The Rams won the NFC West this season with a 12-5 record. They were fourth seeds in the play-offs and went on to have wins over the Arizona Cardinals, reigning champions Tampa Bay and then the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship match.

Cincinnati haven't played in a Super Bowl since 1989 and weren't looking likely winners of the AFC North. They trailed the Baltimore Ravens but then the leaders lost six in a row. The Bengals inflicted one of those losses and won the division with a 10-7 record. They were also seeded fourth for the play-offs and beat the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs. They had to come from 11-0 down to get past the Chiefs. This is going to be tough for them considering the venue. The Rams will hope their quarterback Matthew Stafford stays in top form. If so, they can win this match.
