The 2025 Premier League Darts season takes us to Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Thursday, and the first of Night 11 will see Chris Dobey taking on Luke Humphries. Hollywood is in seventh place in the league standings, while Cool Hand Luke is second. To the match prediction!
Chris Dobey will be hoping for a better showing in the Premier League this week compared to last, when he was knocked out in the quarter-final round 6-4 by Michael van Gerwen.
Since then, he tried his hand at the Players Championship 13 competition and beat Scott Campbell in his first match, but lost to world number 120 Dominik Gruellich in round two.
Dobey has now won four and lost six of his last 10 matches across all competitions and has progressed beyond the quarter-final stage in the Premier League three times to date.
Meanwhile, Luke Humphries managed to keep the gap to league leader Luke Littler to five points last week when he beat the Nuke 6-4 in the semi-final in Manchester.
Unfortunately, he then ran into an in-form Nathan Aspinall in the final and lost the match 6-4 despite managing the highest checkout of the night (142).
Humphries will now face off against Dobey - an opponent he has dominated in the past and has already beaten in each of their three encounters in this season’s Premier League.

Chris Dobey pulled off arguably his best win of this season on Night 9, beating Littler in the quarter-final, but his inability to maintain consistency became evident again last week, when he was ejected in the first round by MVG.
Humphries ran into an inspired Nathan Aspinall in the final in Manchester last week, but he is in solid form himself, and given his record against Dobey, we fancy the world number one to get this win in this one. Our Chris Dobey vs Luke Humphries prediction is Luke Humphries -1.5.
