The 15-16 Chicago Bulls will welcome the 20-12 Minnesota Timberwolves to the United Center for NBA action early on Tuesday. The Bulls are 9th in the East while the visiting Timberwolves are 6th in the West. Let’s dig into the matchup for a prediction. 

It’s been a streaky season for Chicago. They have two five-game win streaks as well as a seven-game and a five-game losing streak. The Bucks came to town most recently to put an end to one of those winning ones. 

Defensively it’s been a poor season for Chicago, only three teams giving up more average points, though the worst of their efforts tend to come on the road. They are just keeping their heads above water on their own court with an 8-7 record.

The Timberwolves have lost two straight prior to this visit to the second city. This is the opening game of four straight on the road, one of three such trips this season, tied for the longest they will spend travelling.
