Chelsea host Benfica in the Champions League and all eyes will be on the away side's coach. Both sides lost their opening game in the league phase with Chelsea in 28th place and Benfica four places above them. Time for our match prediction.
Last month Jose Mourinho was in charge at Fenerbahce and they lost in the Champions League play-off round to Benfica. A few weeks later, the controversial one left the Turkish club and now he's back in Portugal with Benfica. As fate would have it, he now takes his team to his former hunting ground of Stamford Bridge and ahead of the match he's been rather vocal about Chelsea's transfer policy.
Chelsea lost their opening Champions League fixture and were also beaten at home at the weekend. Now they have successive home games in this league phase against Benfica and Ajax and will be looking to get their campaign back on track. Beating Mourinho wouldn't upset them either.

Chelsea have lost three of their last four matches. There have been Premier League defeats at Old Trafford and most recently at home to Brighton and Hove Albion leaving them eighth in the table. Their first match in the league phase of this competition ended in a 3-1 loss at Bayern Munich.
Too many defensive mistakes are being made by Chelsea.
Their only recent win was away at Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup and they had to come from behind to win that. Too many defensive mistakes are being made by the world club champions and six of their last seven games in all competitions have seen both teams score.
Benfica are third in Portugal's Primeira League and still unbeaten. They have won five of their seven league games this season and are only a point off the top. Their most recent game saw them come from behind to beat Gil Vicente 2-1 at home.
After beating Fenerbahce 1-0 in the play-off round. Benfica's league phase began with a hugely disappointing 3-2 home loss to Qarabag. They actually led that match 2-0 after just 16 minutes but ended up losing the game.

Chelsea & Benfica Lisbon Squad Analysis
Trevoh Chalobah was sent off against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday. However, that will not see him suspended for this Champions League match against Benfica. The Blues also have Facundo Buonanotte able to play. He was unable to take part against parent club Brighton on Saturday.
That's the good news for Chelsea who will be without several key players. They include Cole Palmer, Liam Delap and Wesley Fofana. Chelsea won't want to suffer another defeat and may opt to give new signing Alejandro Garnacho a start on Tuesday.
Defensively far too many goals are being conceded so Benoit Badiashile and Maio Gusto may be an option.
Benfica also will want to avoid a second defeat in the league phase. They also have several injury worries ahead of this match at Chelsea. Bruma, Alexander Bah and Manu Silva will be absent. Up front they will be missing Gianluca Prestianni who's on under-20 World Cup duty for Argentina. Eager to win the midfield battle in this game, the Eagles will welcome Enzo Barrenechea back from suspension.
Pavildis is in top scoring form.
Vangelis Pavlidis was their hero on Saturday as he scored both goals against Gil Vicente. He was also on target for Benfica in their 3-2 home loss to Qarabag in their first league phase match and has seven goals this season. Chelsea will certainly need to keep a close eye on him.
