After facing fellow lower tier sides in their last four French Cup matches, it is bound to get tougher for Châteaubriant as the competition heads to the round of 16. Châteaubriant, who play in the fourth tier National 2, will be hosting Ligue 1 side Montpellier at Stade de la Ville en Bois. This will be Châteaubriant’s only fourth game of 2021 after the National 2 matches were postponed. However, Montpellier have no clean sheet in their last five matches but that’s not to mean they are poor defensively; they’ve conceded more than one goal in just one of the last nine matches. Meanwhile, they’ve scored two or more in six of the last 10. Nine of Montpellier’s last 15 matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
