Cameroon are the reigning title holders and are already in a good position in this group. The African Cup of Nations champions won their first group game beating lowly-ranked Guinea-Bissau 2-0. With Ghana only drawing 2-2 with Benin, that gives them a two-point lead going into this game. Victory here will take them into the knock-out stages and they are unbeaten in their last five matches since a narrow 1-0 defeat by Brazil last November.

Ghana have an excellent record in this tournament. They have reached at least the semi-finals in the last six that have been held but last won the title in 1982. There's little between these two countries with Ghana ranked just one place above their opponents, though they are on the slide. Ghana had to rely on goals from the Ayew brothers to earn a point in their opening fixture against Benin. With a final game against Guinea-Bissau to come, they should have few problems qualifying for the knock-out stages. They are undefeated in their last four games but have drawn their last two.
