The Brooklyn Nets come into this match off the back of a 119-111 road defeat against the Dallas Mavericks. That result marked their second defeat in three games.

In that match, Michael Porter was the standout player. He led the team with a game-high 34 points, four rebounds, and three assists. As a team, they shot 45.35% from the field and 43.59% from the three-point range. 

The Nets are at home this time around, aiming to return to winning ways. They've yet to give a good account of themselves at Barclays Center, with ten losses in 12 games.

The Milwaukee Bucks, on the other hand, came out on top in a 116-101 home victory against the Boston Celtics. That result ended a two-match losing streak. 

In that match, Kyle Kuzma was the standout player. He led the team with a game-high 31 points and six rebounds. As a team, they shot an impressive 58.23% from the field and 44.83% from the three-point range. 

The Bucks find themselves in unfamiliar territory. It hasn't been one of their best performances as they head here on a six-game losing streak.
