A 2-1 success at home in 2009 was also the last time that they managed to score in this fixture. They have conceded 12 goals without reply in the last three encounters with their soon-to-be hosts. Bolivia have not won an away World Cup qualifying match in almost 20 years and have lost their last six such games.
