Northern Ireland have had a great start to the qualifiers and they are three points ahead of the group’s favorites, Germany and Netherlands, both who have played two matches. Germany are second with six points, and Netherlands third on three. Northern Ireland have never lost to Belarus; the two have met twice before with Northern Ireland winning both and going there with a good run will give them the needed confidence. Belarus, on the flipside, have had a really bad run lately. They have lost all their last three matches; they have four wins and four losses in their last 10 matches but have kept six clean sheets in the 10 matches. They have scored in five of their last 10 matches. In Euro qualifiers, Belarus have not won any of their last four matches and have managed just three wins in 15. They have five losses in seven Euro qualifiers at home. Northern Ireland on the other hand, have lost just one of their last five matches. They have four wins and five losses in their last 10 matches, with three clean sheets in the run but they are unbeaten in the last nine Euro qualifiers, with six wins therein. They will however need to work on their defence, having managed just two clean sheets in their last 10 Euro qualifiers. They have scored in eight of their last 10 Euro qualifiers and have one loss in six Euro qualifiers away from home.
