Our next match prediction takes in two of the biggest teams from the former Turkish capital of Istanbul. Istanbul Basaksehir host Galatasaray in Super Lig action on Sunday in what promises to be an intriguing derby clash between the Grey Owls and Gala.
The home side lie seventh in the Super Lig table on 26 points, a huge 21 points behind league leaders Galatasaray. Gala have an eight-point lead over Fenerbahce at the top of the table after 17 games and are unbeaten this season, winning 15 of their 17 games, drawing two.
However, the Grey Owls have not been beaten in eight home games this season, winning four and drawing four. They have lost just one of their last five, a 3-1 defeat to Fenerbahce, followed by a 2-2 draw at home to Kasimpasa and then a 1-0 away win at Adana Demirspor.
Galatasaray comes into this game having won all their last four games, scoring 13 goals. A 3-2 away win at Sivasspor was followed by a dramatic 4-3 home win over Trabzonspor, a 5-1 win away to Kayserispor and most recently a 2-1 win at home over Goztepe.
The teams met in the Group Stage of the Turkish Cup last Wednesday, finishing in a 2-2 draw.
