If this preview had been written a few weeks ago it would be a very different one than this is going to be . Barnsley were in the play-off places in September but have lost four of their last five games including a 4-2 home defeat by Fulham on Saturday.  They have gone three home games without a win and slipped down to 11th in the table and four points away from the play-off places. Newcastle are second in the table, a point behind Norwich and the pair who were both relegated from the Premier League last season are looking good to bounce back at the first attempt. Newcastle have won their last three league games scoring eight goals in the process. Away form last year was a total disaster but this season they have won four out of six with just one defeat and that was at Fulham in their first game. Newcastle are in form, Barnsley aren't so it's another Newcastle away win for me.
