Barcelona are only fourth in La Liga coming into this game after two defeats so far this season. They are doing better in this group though with two wins and nine goals so far. Their home form in the Champions League  has been highly impressive and last season they won all five scoring 15 and conceding just three and this season's one home Champions League game saw them hammer Celtic 7-0. This will be much tougher as they take on a Manchester City side managed by their former boss Pep Guardiola  City beat Moenchengladbach 4-0 in their opening game but then drew 3-3 away to Celtic. They have only one point from their last two league games and will be wondering what to do if they get awarded a penalty with a host of misses from the spot this season. Barcelona usually turn it on when it comes to big European nights and can get a home win over City here.
