Kansas City Chiefs travel to Baltimore during the week to take on the Ravens in Monday Night Football. The Ravens have started the season strongly, winning two out of two. They blew the Cleveland Browns away 38-6 in their home opener before travelling to take on the Houston Texans, claiming a 33-16 victory. Only two teams have scored more points in their opening two games this season. The Chiefs went into this season as reigning Super Bowl champions and they have been picking up the results to go with that stature, even if the performances have been unconvincing. They beat the Texans 34-20 in their opener and edged a thrilling second match 23-20 at the Los Angeles Chargers. It will be a fascinating encounter for fans (watching from home) and plenty of neutrals are expected to tune in too. The reason for that is both sides have elite players in their teams in the form of reigning MVP Lamar Jackson (for the Ravens) and Patrick Mahomes (of the Chiefs). The two have a friendly rivalry and sincere admiration is shared between them. Mahomes has a 2-0 record against his rival, a perfect record that could be sullied in the days to come.

While the Ravens have lost on their last two meetings with the Chiefs, the manner in which they have started this season makes them favourites. They have five takeaways after two games, the best record in the NFL, and 14 consecutive wins in the regular season. Both of the previous two matches between the sides have been settled by a few points (eight in total across the two) but we expect the Ravens to get the win here. Back the home side to win by a margin of 7-12 points.
