Both of these countries are still looking for their first point in this League B group of the UEFA Nations League. Austria opened their campaign with a 1-0 defeat away to Bosnia-Herzegovina conceding with just 12 minutes to go. Two of their three remaining games are at home and they will need to win them both if they want to win promotion to League A by topping the group. Despite not qualifying for the World Cup finals, Austria have only lost one of their last 11 home games and that was to Brazil this year. They have had some notable home victories beating Germany, Sweden, Russia, Uruguay and Serbia so it's a difficult place to go and get a result.

Northern Ireland go into this game without Kyle Lafferty who has opted not to play for them in the October internationals. That's a major blow for them after losing their opening group fixture 2-1 at home to Bosnia-Herzegovina. With two of their three remaining games away from home, finishing bottom and being relegated to League C is looking more than likely. They did get a 3-0 home win over Israel following that loss to Bosnia-Herzegovina but away form is disappointing. Their last four on the road have produced two draws and two defeats and they have failed to score in any of those games. Only two of their last nine away internationals have been won and they have failed to win either of their last two games against Austria. The tip here is for a home win.
