Barcelona are still only a point behind La Liga leaders Real Madrid who lost in midweek to Valencia. They've played a game more than the league leaders but could go top if winning at Atletico Madrid. Winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey are their only two realistic hopes of success this season after that 4-0 loss at PSG in the Champions League. Barcelona are unbeaten in their last 15 league games but this is a tough task for them. Away from home, Barcelona have the best record in the league with eight wins out of twelve and a defeat at Celta Vigo. The last five on the road have produced three wins, two draws, 15 goals and just two conceded. Atletico Madrid are fourth in the table and six points behind their opponents. A win here could put them back in the title picture and they are in form after a 4-2 away win at Leverkusen in the Champions League in midweek and have won their last three league games and won eight of the last ten home league games. The two sides have met three times so far this season. The reverse fixture in the league saw them draw 1-1. In the Copa de Rey semi-finals, Barcelona won 2-1 at Atletico then drew 1-1 at home in a game that saw three players sent off. A difficult game to predict but a bet on both teams scoring should pay dividends.
