A few weeks ago Arsenal fans were celebrating winning their Champions League group and being in a strong position to win the Premier League. Since then they've lost successive away games to Everton and Manchester City and go into the festive fixtures nine points adrift of league leaders Chelsea. It's looking like another season when Arsenal promise so much and then make a right mess of it. Home form has been strong this season though with no league losses since that opening weekend defeat by Liverpool with five wins and two draws. West Brom have had a good start to the season and are eighth in the table but seven points off the top six. They have lost six league games though and a seventh looks on the way here.  Albion don't have a great record against the best in the league and the last three games have seen defeats by Chelsea and Manchester United. They've only had two away league wins and goals aren't plentiful with just a total of 15 in their eight away league games. Go for Arsenal to win here.
