Arsenal return to Premier League action needing a win to keep in touch with leaders Liverpool. The Gunners are second in the table and host North London rivals Tottenham who are down in 12th place. Who'll win this match? Read our match prediction.

Arsenal are six points off the top of the table and will have a close eye on Liverpool's game at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday. They could come into this game nine points behind the leaders or have the chance to narrow the gap to three. Arsenal have gone three games without a win and were knocked out of the FA Cup on Sunday by Manchester United. Three of their last six league games have been drawn.

It took Tottenham 100 minutes to take the lead against non-league Tamworth on Sunday. They are struggling in the Premier League and are ten points behind the top six. Away form is poor but a trip to the Emirates may liven them up.

Arsenal need a consistent goalscorer but suffered a big blow on Sunday. Gabriel Jesus injured his knee in the FA Cup loss to Manchester United. It's not known yet how long that injury will keep him on the sidelines.

Arsenal's injury list keeps on growing.

He joins a growing injury list that already included key players such as Bukayo Saka, Ben White, Riccardo Calafiori and Ethan Nwaneri. A strong line-up was played by Arteta against United and some changes are likely, especially after that match went all the way to penalties.

Tottenham so nearly lost at National League side Tamworth on Sunday. They also have several players out injured at present. Their squad isn't so strong as some in the Premier League, hence their drop down the table. Players such as Ben Davies, Richarlison, Micky van de Ven and Rodrigo Bentancur will also miss this away game against Arsenal. Fraser Forster is well again but his replacement Antonin Kinsky has been impressive in goal and could keep his place.
