Arsenal have just the four points from their three games so far, hardly championship winning form is it? They began with that disappointing defeat at home to Liverpool, got a creditable draw with Leicester and then got off the mark with an away win at Watford. Already five points behind the two Manchester clubs and Chelsea, the Gunners know they have to get some more wins if they want to keep in the title chase. The next seven league fixtures look good for Arsenal with only Chelsea as possible title challengers. A good run this and next month is essential for them before the tougher fixtures come along. It's not been a good start for Southampton either with just two points from three games and 15th place in the table. Two home games against Watford and Sunderland really should have produced more than two points and the other game saw them lose 2-0 at Manchester United. Having sold so many players during the summer (again), a tough season could be in store for them and the distractions of the Europa League might be a bit of a hindrance to them. Arsenal should be able to get a home win here.
