Arsenal have a big task on their hands in this Women's Champions League quarter-final second leg. They host Real Madrid and trail the Spanish side 2-0 from the away first leg. Can the Gunners reach the semi-finals? Here's our match prediction.
It all went wrong for Arsenal in the first leg but at least this game will be played on a better pitch. Arsenal conceded a goal in each half as they lost 2-0 in Madrid. They have returned to form since with a 4-0 home win over Liverpool in the Women's Super League.
That kept them second in the table and two of their goals were scored by Jaz Matthews who played for the other team. They cannot expect Real to be so generous on Wednesday. All six of their home games in this season's WCL have been won with 19 goals scored.
Real Madrid are yet to play in the semi-finals of this competition. They also had a big win at the weekend with a 3-1 win away at La Liga F. leaders Barcelona. They have only lost three of their last 14 games, all inflicted by Barcelona.
Away form in this competition has produced three wins from the last four. We go for both teams to score in this game.

Our Arsenal vs Real Madrid Prediction
Arsenal go into this second leg as the underdogs to qualify for a semi-final against either Bayern Munich or Lyon. The first leg was lost 2-0 but the English club does possess excellent home form. An early goal for them really would have us set for a thriller.
Real Madrid are in good form and will make life very difficult for their opponents. With Arsenal being so strong at home and scoring plenty of goals, our Arsenal v Real Madrid prediction is Arsenal to win and over 2.5 goals.
