Argentinos Juniors missed the chance to seal a second round slot in the Copa Libertadores after losing at home to Universidad Catolica in Group F on Match Day 4. They go to Match Day 5 where they will host Colombian side Atletico Nacional. The hosts have nine points at the top of the group and Atletico Nacional have five points in third place. Prior to their loss to Universidad Catolica, Argentinos had won four straight matches and kept three clean sheets. The loss was Argentinos’ first in 11 matches but will want to focus on the good start they’ve had after returning to the competition for the first time in 10 years. They managed to score twice in the opening three matches and kept clean sheets in the same. After losing their first home match of the competition, they will hope for a better result in the second and Atletico Nacional’s form should give the home team confidence.

The visitors have no win in their last three Copa Libertadores matches and failed to score in the last two. Their only win in Group F came at home and they’ve struggled away from home too. In their last three Libertadores matches, there has been at least one red card; they failed to beat a nine-man Nacional in their last group game. Against Argentinos, they will have Emmanuel Olivera back after suspension for the Nacional game.
