After reaching the quarter-finals in Toronto, 28th seed Alex Michelsen will want another good run in this Cincinnati Open. He has a tricky opening match in round two against unseeded Corentin Moutet. Here's our match prediction.

Michelsen is up to 31st in the live rankings and could well be seeded at the US Open later this month. The American had an excellent win over Lorenzo Musetti in Toronto but was eventually beaten by Karen Khachanov who went on to lose in the final.

That was the first time the 20-year-old had got past round three in a Masters tournament. He has lost both of his previous matches against Moutet (one this year) but this is their first meeting on a hard court.

Corentin Moutet made it to the semi-finals in last month's Washington hard court event. That run included a win over Daniil Medvedev and was only the second time this year he's made it to round three on this surface.

Since that good run, he's lost in round two in Toronto and beat Mackenzie McDonald in the first round in this Masters tournament and is 41st in the live rankings. The winner of this match will face either seventh seed Holger Rune or unseeded Roman Safiullin in round three.
