Alex de Minaur is the top seed in the Libema Open and doesn't have any seeded players between him and the last four. The Australian takes on lucky loser Zizou Bergs in round two of this grass court tournament.  This is the last 16 and the quarter-final opponent for the winner will be either unseeded Roberto Bautista Agut or Milos Raonic. De Minaur is a career-high ninth in the latest world ranking list and recently reached the last eight at Roland Garros. He's won one title this year, February's hard court tournament held in Acapulco. Now he hopes to have a good grass court season. In 2021 he won the Eastbourne grass court tournament and last year lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the Queen's Club final.

Zizou Bergs didn't expect to be playing the top seed after being beaten in the qualifying rounds. The Belgian beat Omar Jasika in straight sets but was beaten in the final qualifying round by the Australian Tristan Schoolkate (the world number 142) in straight sets. Withdrawals earned Bergs a reprieve and the lucky loser beat Tim van Rijthoven without dropping a set to progress into round two. He's 81st in the latest rankings but up to 74th after reaching this second round in Hertogenbosch. Bergs reached the last 32 at Roland Garros but has never made it past the first round at Wimbledon. A Challenger Tour semi-final was reached last year but this looks too stiff a task for him and we tip de Minaur to win in straight sets.
