The last few matches have not delivered the best results for both AC Milan and Torino and as Milan hosts this game in the 24th round of Serie A, both sides will be looking to get the edge. AC Milan have managed 32 points so far and are placed 10th while Torino in 13th placed have 27 points. Milan have not won any of their last three matches. They came from behind to draw with Hellas Verona and took the lead against Inter and Juventus but allowed them back to lose and draw respectively. In the most recent match, they were coasting to a 1-0 win over Juventus but conceded a last minute goal through a penalty. One positive factor they take to this game is that they have scored in each of their last eight matches. Milan have won five of their last 11 matches and have four clean sheets in their last 10 matches and have scored more than one goal in five of their last 10 matches. They have not lost any of their last eight matches but have five draws therein while none of their last four matches has ended in a Milan clean sheet. In their last six Serie A matches at home, they have managed just one win. Four of the last seven meetings between these two sides have ended in draws.

Torino, on the other hand, have lost each of their last five matches. In their last match, against Sampdoria, they took a 55th minute lead but in the final 20 minutes, they conceded thrice. That loss came after a 4-0 whitewash at the hands of lowly Lecce while earlier in Serie A, they had lost 7-0 to Atalanta. They also met with Milan recently in the Coppa Italia, and let a 2-1 lead in the 72nd minute slip before losing 4-2 in extra time. All this is testament to their defensive discipline; they have conceded two or more goals in each of their last five matches and only won two while losing six of their last 10 matches. They have not been strong on attack either, scoring more than one goal in just two of their last nine matches. Away from home, they have three straight losses, have scored just three goals and conceded 10 in the three matches. They have four straight losses in the Serie A, conceding 16 goals in the process and in their last 11 away matches in the league, they have four wins and six losses. They beat Roma 2-0 away and took a 3-0 lead over Hellas Verona before drawing 3-3 away from home in some of their recent away games. They will be hoping to bring this to the Milan game too and they will not have to look to far for inspiration – they have two wins in the last three meetings with Milan. In their most recent meeting, Milan needed a last minute goal to drive the game to extra time in the Coppa Italia, before winning 4-2.
