Inter Milan finished fourth in Serie A last season but have made an impressive start to the new term. They lead the table after winning their first three league games of the new season. Inter opened up with a 4-0 home win over newly-promoted Lecce and then folowed by a 2-1 win at Cagliari and 1-0 win over Udinese. Their perfect start to the season ended when held to a 1-1 home draw by Slavia Prague in the Champions League. It took a second half injury time goal to grab a point from that game. Inter have only lost one of their last six away league matches.

AC Milan are seventh in the table but only three points behind their opponents. Three league games have only seen three goals scored. They began the season with a 1-0 loss away at Udinese. Since then, Milan have had two 1-0 wins over Brescia and Verona. Eight of their last ten league matches have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. That stat also came during the summer in two friendlies and a couple of International Champions Cup matches. Go for under 2.5 goals in this game.
