Kosovo are playing in World Cup qualifiers for just the second time in their history, and are coming from their first ever win in the competition. They will host Greece on Sunday, hoping to build on the 1-0 win over Georgia. Kosovo are on three points from three games and are placed third in Group B while Greece, having played two, are fourth with two points. After their win over Georgia, Kosovo returns home to a tougher game. They will be looking to improve on a run that has seen them concede two or more in four of their last five games in World Cup qualification. Kosovo have failed to score in five of their last seven World Cup qualification games and in 13 matches in the same competition they have 11 losses. They will now be gunning for a first home win in such qualifiers, after losing each of the last six.

Greece have never lost to Kosovo before; they’ve played twice and one ended in a draw, another a win. They are coming from a 2-1 loss to Switzerland in a friendly match, which handed them the sixth straight game without a clean sheet; they have just three in the last 10. Greece have failed to score in just two of their last 10 matches and in their last 11, they have one loss and five wins. In World Cup qualification, they have three straight draws and are winless in four. However, they have won five of their last 10 away matches in the competition.
