The Indiana Pacers will be at home against the Milwaukee Bucks for game three of their Eastern Conference first-round matchup. They won game two to tie the series at 1-1 and will now seek to take full advantage of home court and go ahead. The Pacers bounced back superbly after losing game one and dented the Bucks’ early home-court advantage. Rick Carlisle’s men won 125-108 to continue their dominance in this fixture this season. They have defeated the Bucks in five out of seven meetings in 2023/24. Pascal Siakam has been a great addition to the team. He led all other scorers on the court in points in both games and has put up a combined 73 points. Indiana shot 55% from the field and 44% from three in game two. In game one they had struggled on offence and shot a dismal 20% from three and 39% from the field. The Pacers, who won four of their final five regular season games, will continue to be without the injured Bennedict Mathurin. Indy have ranked top on offence this season and have averaged 122.8 points a game.

The Bucks will be extremely disappointed with how they allowed the Pacers to tie this series. After clawing to within four points of their visitors at the start of the fourth, Milwaukee would allow Indiana to go on a run. The Bucks would be outscored 23-4 for the next five minutes and could not find their way back into the game. Damian Lillard has had big performances in both games. It was unfortunate that he could not will his team to victory like he did in game one. The guard poured in 35 points in game one and then 34 last time out. The Bucks, who finished the regular season abysmally, have had to do without Giannis Antentokounmpo in the first two games. He is injured and it looks likely that he could be unavailable for the entirety of this series. The Bucks are ranked fourth on offence but in their last three games have averaged 101.7 points. They will hope to win at least once as the series switches to Indiana for games three and four.
