Brest will be looking to strengthen their hold of third place in Ligue 1 when they play host to Reims this Friday. Reims have secured survival and have nothing much to play for but Brest are seeking to avoid the Champions League qualifiers. That, they will achieve with a top three finish, which is why three points here are key. Their 2-1 win over Reims in the reverse fixture halted a run of four straight draws between these sides. Coming here, Brest are unbeaten in two games, their most recent having ended 0-0 against Nantes. For a team that has been in a number of high-scoring matches, that draw marked a shift for Brest. That result left them with just two wins in the last 13 matches. Having conceded nine times in the last three matches, will not inspire a lot of confidence coming here either. A poor away form just about sums it up for Reims, losing six times in their last 10 games on the road.
