Manchester United will be looking to bounce back when they travel to West Midlands to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers after their 1-1 draw with Southampton. Hosts Wolves, on their part, will be looking to get their opening win after identical 1-0 losses to Leicester City and Tottenham. Wolves however warmed up for the game with a 4-0 away win at Nottingham Forest in the League Cup, making it the second time in five matches that they’ve scored more than a goal. They have one clean sheet in the last five matches and haven’t conceded more than a goal in their last five matches. While the team has been playing well under new manager Bruno Lage, it is never enough without goals. They should do with the return to fitness of Raul Jimenez who spent almost all of last season out with a head injury. In Premier League matches, Wolves have five straight losses and failed to score in four of them. At home, they’ve failed to score in two of four and lost three of them.

Manchester United on the other hand, have a second straight away game. The team has one clean sheet in the last five matches but has scored in each of the last 14. They had to dig deep to secure a 1-1 draw with Southampton in the last game. Paul Pogba is in great form, and has already provided five assists in the league. Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood are doing the job in attack and United will be lethal with Edison Cavani returning. Raphael Varane could also start in defence, which makes this a very solid team. Both teams have scored in each of United’s last seven league matches and they have one clean sheet in 10 matches. United will like the fact that they play away, given their performances away from home in the league. They have no loss in 27 away league matches and go here unbeaten in six matches against Wolves, winning three.
