Wolves vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Wolverhampton Wanderers begin the weekend in 11th place in the English Premier League. They have few relegation worries as there is an 11-point gap between them and the bottom three. A strong end to the season could see them finish as high as seventh (currently three points behind Watford) and that could well earn them a place in the Europa League depending on who wins the domestic cup competitions. Wolves were already up against it at City on Monday before having a player sent off. They have lost three of their last five league games and don't want a repeat of the poor run they had in October and November. Two of those defeats were against Manchester City and Liverpool but more worrying was the home loss to Crystal Palace. Five of their last seven home league games have been lost and that has to improve if they are to get that top seven finish.

Leicester City beat Wolves 2-0 at home earlier in the season but like their opponents are also inconsistent. They have won nine league games but lost the same amount and haven't had too happy a 2019 so far with defeats by Newport County in the FA Cup and Southampton at home last weekend. They have won their last two away league games though beating both Chelsea and Everton so it's hard to work out what they'll do next. One stat does stand out though and that's the fact their last six away league games have all had under 2.5 goals scored in them. Wolves have had their fair share of similar results so the tip here is for under 2.5 goals to be scored.
