Wolves will be desperate to stay hot on the heels of Manchester United when they host Everton in the Premier League on Sunday. The home side are sixth in the table, six points behind United and host 11th placed Everton. Everton are five points off eighth place and six off seventh after their 1-1 home draw with Southampton on Thursday evening. Qualifying for the Europa League remains a possibility but they are among a cluster of midtable teams close together on points.. The margin for error will be small over the last few rounds of the season. Everton have a mixed record against Wolves since their opponents won promotion to the top flight last season, winning, drawing and losing in that three-game history. Everton claimed victory in the reverse fixture back in September when Richarlison was in hot form. The Toffees had been in decent form since returning with straight wins over Norwich and Leicester. However, they only have one point from their last couple of games this week against Tottenham and Southampton. Matches away from home continue to be tricky for Carlo Ancelotti's team with only four of their 17 fixtures resulting in victory. Three of their last four away matches have ended in defeat.

Wolves had been going strongly before a surprise 2-0 defeat at home to Arsenal. Nuno's team have been surprisingly patchy at home this season and if the table was based on home form alone, they would be in the bottom half. They have only managed to win two of their last six home matches and another slip-up could put paid to their Champions League dream. The loss to Arsenal was followed by defeat at Sheffield United. However, they have game-changing players in Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez, and the contest could hinge on a moment of magic from one of them.
