Two clubs looking to bounce back from defeats meet on Tuesday when Wolves host Chelsea in a Premier League battle. Currently 11th in the table, Wolves have not convinced in the first third of the season, collecting 17 points from their 12 games. Their opponents, Chelsea, are third in the table after Saturday's fixtures, with 22 points from 12 matches. Frank Lampard's Blues suffered their first defeat in 18 games over the weekend when they went down 1-0 at Everton. Although they rattled the woodwork on multiple occasions during the match, Chelsea failed to impress against the Toffees. Wolves, meanwhile, lost their second Premier League game in succession when they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa in their last outing. Like Chelsea, they also succumbed to a fatal penalty. It was the fourth time in five matches that Wolves failed to win a Premier League game. The defeat also brought an end to a decent run of home form, ending a streak of four games unbeaten. Wolves' previous five home matches in the league featured fewer than three goals. 

Chelsea were unbeaten in five away league matches before that Goodison Park mishap. They kept clean sheets in the last three of those. Wolves will lack firepower for some time after star striker Raul Jimenez suffered a severe head injury in a recent fixture. Chelsea are unbeaten in their last three matches against Wolves, winning twice. However, we see their midweek meeting being tight and most probably ending in level.
