Wolfsburg vs Saint Etienne Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Wolfsburg battle it out with St Etienne and are still in with a chance of winning their Europa League group. They are in second place, a point behind Gent but they are already assured of a place in the last 32. Their opponents only have four points and have already been eliminated. Wolfsburg will win the group if they win this game and Gent fail to win at home against Oleksandriya. They are not in the best of form though with only two wins in their last 11 games. The last two have been lost with the most recent being a 1-0 away loss at Freiburg leaving them 9th in the German Bundesliga. Home form is even worse with four straight defeats conceding 14 goals. Three of their last five home games have had over 2.5 goals scored in them and both home matches in this group.

St Etienne are third in the group and can't get any higher. They haven't won any of their group games but only lost one with four ending all-square. All three of their home games were drawn with only one point from two away matches. Those two away games have seen nine goals scored. They are eighth in Ligue 1 with two losses in their last three games, all of which have had over 2.5 goals scored in them. Wolfsburg may field a weakened side, a lot depends on how much they want to win the group. A bet on over 2.5 goals looks the one to make here.
