West Ham United continue to be as inconsistent as ever. One minute they are beating Everton and Manchester United and taking points off Chelsea, the next losing away to Brighton and Hove Albion. They are 15th in the Premier League and only four points above the bottom three  They have only won one of their last three league games and after that win over Manchester United in their last home game, their fans won't need reminding that the last time they won two consecutive home games in the Premier League was in December 2016. Keeping clean sheets is a problem with only one in the last nine Premier League games and one in the last eight at home.

Tottenham are fifth in the table and only two points off the league leaders. This game against West Ham is the start of an important week as it's followed by a Champions League game at PSV where they just have to get some points, then the week ends with a home game against Manchester City.  Tottenham come into this game on the back of three straight league wins but not against the best of opposition. They have won four of their last five away league matches and have scored in 17 of their last 18 away games in the Premier League. This is a game that usually supplies a few goals with three of the last five ending in a 3-2 scoreline. The tip here is for over 2.5 goals to be scored in this match.
