Two Premier Leagues vying for European places meet on Sunday when West Ham host Tottenham. The away side are in fifth place with 15 points from eight games, while their opponents are one point behind, in seventh. Spurs appear to have put a dreadful patch of domestic troubles behind them, winning their last two Premier League matches. The most recent victory was a dramatic 3-2 success away to Newcastle. However, defeat is the taste on Spurs lips coming into the game as they lost at Vitesse in the Conference League on Thursday night. It is the latest stumble on the road for a Spurs side that doesn't travel well. They have failed to win five of their last six away matches in standard time, conceding two or more goals on five separate occasions. Tottenham have regularly picked up results at West Ham, winning on four of their previous five visits, but lost on their most recent trip there, back in February. 

West Ham had a comparatively easy European week, strolling to a 3-0 home win over Genk in the Europa League. The Hammers have now won five of their last six matches in all competitions. They have managed clean sheets in four of those matches. Their form is a lot patchier at home, where they have failed to win their last three Premier League games. Both sides scored in all four of West Ham's home games this season, and we think there's a high chance of that happening again on Sunday. Four of the previous five encounters between the teams at West Ham's home ground have seen goals at both ends. We suggest backing both teams to score.
