And so the march to the Premier League title continues. Liverpool can go 19 points clear of second placed Manchester City with an away win at 17th placed West Ham. Another victory would take the Reds to 70 points for the season and it's hard to not imagine that being the result of this match. Sadio Mane is going to miss the game after being injured against Wolverhampton Wanderers but they have a squad that can more than cope with his absence. Liverpool have won their last 14 league games and the goal they conceded at Wolves ended a run of seven consecutive Premier League clean sheets. Away from home, Liverpool have won six in a row since that disastrous day when they could only draw at Manchester United. 14 of their last 15 away league games have been won as they continue to pile up frightening statistics.

West Ham can only dream of such achievements as they battle to stay in the Premier League. Another big spending summer has failed to produce the goods and they are only out of the bottom three on goal difference. This is their game in hand on their rivals but what a game to have to play!  A victory would take them up to 15th but a defeat by a four-goal margin would take them into the relegation zone. The weekend saw their almost traditional loss to a lower league side in the FA Cup as they lost to West Brom. The Hammers started brightly under new manager David Moyes but have slumped again with only seven points from their last nine league matchs. Home form in the Premier League has seen them earn four points from their last two with a win over struggling Bournemouth and a draw with Everton. Only Southampton are below them in a league table based on home results only. A seventh home league loss looks inevitable here, go for Liverpool to win and be ahead at both half and full time.
