West Ham need to get back into winning ways at home after the recent loss to Chelsea. They begin this weekend fifth in the Premier League and host Everton who are in eighth. The Hammers are three points behind Chelsea in fourth and with an inferior goal difference. With Chelsea at Manchester City this weekend, it could be a good weekend for West Ham. A win would also take them nine points clear of Everton (who have a game in hand) so a top seven finish and European football next season would be looking very likely. West Ham had lost two successive league games before getting a 2-1 win at Burnley. Home form has produced four wins from the last six, the most recent though was a 1-0 loss to Chelsea.

Everton lost again at the weekend, going down 2-1 at home to Aston Villa. They begin this set of fixtures two points behind Liverpool in seventh and four adrift of Tottenham in sixth but with a game in hand. A form guide for the last five Premier League games has them in 14th place with only six points earned. Only one of their last seven league fixtures have been won, that was a 1-0 win at Arsenal. Their away form is keeping them in the race for a place in Europe. Just one loss (at Chelsea) in the last 12 played in the Premier League and four clean sheets in the last five. Each of those games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. Go for a bet on that market in this game.
