A week gone of the season and West Ham are already in trouble. Nearly £100m spent on new players and a new man in charge but no sign of any improvement. They lost 4-0 at Liverpool last week and it could have been a lot more. They face Bournemouth at home but over the coming weeks have to play nine games in which they face seven of the top nine from last season with Manchester City a couple of games later. West Ham have to defend better than they did last week and it'll probably take a while for their new players to gel, a common problem when you just go around signing lots of players. Home form last season was patchy with seven wins, six draws and six defeats and three of their last five at home have had over 2.5 goals scored in them.

Bournemouth got their season off to a good start with a 2-0 win at home to Cardiff City and it could have been more but for a missed penalty. 12 of their 19 away league games last season had over 2.5 goals scored in them and they lost nine away matches. It remains to be seen whether they have cured the defensive problems that last season saw them concede 61 goals. Two games between West Ham and Bournemouth last season produced eight goals and a bet on over 2.5 being scored in this match looks a good one.
