West Ham United’s bid for continental football sees the Londoners head to The Hawthorns on Wednesday to face West Bromwich Albion, who have already been consigned to relegation. West Brom are placed 19th with 26 points while West Ham United are seventh on 59 points. This is the last game at home for West Brom before they embark on their Championship journey and the presence of fans should be soothing enough as they wrap up a disappointing campaign. Not even changes in the coaching department have worked for West Brom and they can only hope to avoid finishing bottom of the standings. With one more point they can get that, but they can’t rise above 18th place. The Baggies had some revival in the wins over Chelsea and Southampton and somehow looked primed to escape relegation.
