West Brom vs Preston North End Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

After a poor spell of form, all seems to be well again at West Bromwich Albion. They are four points clear at the top of the Championship and look for a fifth league win in six games when hosting sixth placed Preston North End. West Brom are nine points clear of third placed Fulham and with only 12 games to go, again look strong favourites to return to the Premier League. They had gone seven league games without a win but February has been a great month for them with 13 points from their five games and at least two goals scored in each of those matches. Home form has seen Albion win seven league games at the Hawthorns though only one of the last five has been won.

Preston North End are in the final promotion play-off position but ten points behind West Brom. There's only a six point gap between them and Leeds in the second automatic promoton spot, so they could yet end up in the Premier League next season. Preston have had their problems on their travels this season but have shown improved form of late. They have won their last three on the road but look at who they have been playing. Those wins have come at Stoke, Wigan and Barnsley, three of the bottom six in the table. Their most recent league fixture was a home win over Hull City (who are in dreadful form) and they had to come from behind to win that. Previously, they had lost at home to Millwall and this will be a lot tougher for them. West Brom can get the win to further strengthen their automatic promotion hopes.
