It's probably a close contest between who was most shocked last weekend. It might be the Manchester United fans who couldn't believe their side lost at home to West Brom, or it could be the Albion fans just shocked to see their team win. A close third were all the punters who saw a whole host of bets lost. West Brom's win at Old Trafford ended a run of ten league games without a win but they remain bottom of the table nine points from safety and with an inferior goal difference. A defeat here and at least a point for Swansea City at Manchester City would relegate them. They have one point from their last five home league games and only two clean sheets in the last nine at home and it's hard to see them preventing Liverpool getting on the clean sheet.

Liverpool are third in the Premier League and ten ahead of fifth placed Chelsea but that could be seven if the Londoners can win at Burnley on Thursday. They trail second-placed Manchester United by four points but qualification for the Champions League looks secured. This game comes a few days before their Champions League semi-final against Roma so it's possible Jurgen Klopp might rest some players for this game. Liverpol have just one loss in their last ten league games and two in the last 12 away league matches. They have strength in depth and up against a dodgy West Brom defence can get the three points from this game.
