West Bromwich Albion finally got their first win of the season, after beating Sheffield United 1-0 in their last game but they remain in the bottom three. They will be looking to make it two in a row when they host Crystal Palace this Sunday. Ahead of the game, West Brom are placed 18th with six points while Palace are 15th on 13 points. A key concern for West Brom going to this game will be their attack, which they hope to improve on after failing to score in five of their last seven matches. They will also have defensive issues to deal with, as the clean sheet against Sheffield United last time out was just their second in the last 10 matches. After 10 rounds of matches, they have lost six and conceded two or more goals in five of the 10 while they haven’t scored more than one goal in the last seven league games. The 1-0 win at home to Sheffield in the last league game marked an improvement for the Baggies, and they will be hoping the home advantage card plays out again here. They have one loss, two clean sheets and have scored four in their last four league games at home. The hosts will however be seeking a first win in six matches against Palace, and have also failed to score in five matches against the London side.

They head to this game on two straight losses and have been without Wilfred Zaha for the last two matches as well as Luka Milivojevic who is set to return after suspension. A shaky recent run has produced just three wins for Palace in their last 10 matches. In their most recent game, Palace conceded two goals in the final two minutes and went on to lose 2-0 to Newcastle United. That game came after another uninspiring performance, and 1-0 loss away to Burnley and now they have failed to score in three of the last five away league matches this season. Stretched to last season, they have scored in just two of their last nine away league matches. Palace have no clean sheet in their last nine away league matches but have conceded just one goal in their last six meetings with West Brom.
