Borussia Dortmund started the season well but have dropped off as the season progressed and they run the risk of missing the league title. They are highly dependent on other results going their way but they will first hope that they can pick a win here. In their last five matches, Dortmund have picked three wins and two losses. A  5 – 0 beating by Bayern Munich was the marker of their tribulation going to the final stretch of matches and losing to Schalke meant they also miss out on the chance to go back on top of the log. They have just two wins in seven away games. Dortmund are however taking on a Werder Bremen side that has lost all the last three matches, two of them being league games. Bremen have no clean sheet in the last five matches, while they have conceded in 11 of their last 12. Playing at home, they have lost just once in nine matches but in Bundesliga alone, they are unbeaten in eight home matches. In 10 of their last 11 meetings, these sides have produced over 2.5 goals and in the total 103 meetings, Bremen have 42 wins while Dortmund have 44. An added impetus for Bremen in this game will be the fact that they have a possibility of securing a Europa League place if all goes well.
