Watford vs Norwich Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Norwich travel to Watford on Tuesday with their tragic Premier League fate almost sealed. The Canaries are bottom of the table, seven points from safety with five rounds of games to play. The Hornets have a much better chance of staying up as they are currently outside the relegation zone in 17th. However, the battle to stay up is fierce and Watford have no breathing space with both Aston Villa and Bournemouth only one point behind them at the time of writing. Norwich have never looked like turning the tide since returning to a relegation battle upon the resumption of competitive football. They have lost all five of their fixtures, four in the league and the other in the FA Cup. It means that they are on a five-game losing streak in the top flight and it seems unlikely to come to an end at Vicarage Road. Although Norwich have won four of their last six encounters with Watford, two of the last three have gone in the favour of the Hornets, one of which was the reverse fixture earlier in the campaign. What's more, Norwich have the worst away record in the division and have lost 12 of their 16 away games. 

Watford were in reasonably good form before the hiatus but have not been able to keep that up upon the restart. They have lost three of their four games since returning, stretching their winless run in the league to five games.Watford lost 3-0 away at Chelsea on Saturday evening and could even start this game in the bottom three if Aston Villa had a shock win at Liverpool on Sunday. While they haven't been winning of late, they have at least been solid at home, going unbeaten in four of their last six matches. Recent performances have been off but Nigel Pearson seems as though he has the power to motivate his players to perform on big occasions. Norwich, on the other hand, looked resigned to Championship football next season. Back the home side to win.
