Watford and Norwich meet on Saturday in an EFL Championship matchday 30 meeting at Vicarage Road with a lot riding on the result for both teams. The 9th-placed Hornets are separated from the 11th-placed Canaries by just two points, and our match prediction is for both teams to score.

Watford has 41 points and is three behind the top-six slots, while Norwich has 39 points. Watford lost 2-1 away at Coventry last weekend, making it back-to-back 2-1 defeats for the Hornets. In fact, they have now lost five of their last seven league games, losing ground in the top-six race.

The downturn of form coincided with Watford losing their impeccable home record. They lost their last three home league games, each by a 2-1 score, after remaining unbeaten in the first 11 Championship matches here this season.

Norwich thumped Swansea 5-1 at home last weekend to end a two-game losing streak. That has given them four wins out of their last seven league matches, as the Canaries now target getting some momentum back in their top-six push.

They are still far from being comfortable on the road, as Norwich won just once in their last 11 away league games. This included losing three of their last four trips.
