Watford vs Norwich Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

It is Match Day 23 in the Premier League and Watford will be playing host to Norwich as the two sides aim to take a big leap in their quest to avoid relegation. There’s just one point between the two sides, Watford, placed 17th with 14 points and Norwich, 18th on 13 points. Watford, without a number of their players currently at the AFCON tournament managed to avoid defeat for the first time in eight matches when they drew 1-1 with Newcastle United in their last game. They will wish to build on it here, and one area they can start from is in attack, having failed to score in just two matches of the last 10. Joao Pedro saved the team from imminent defeat with an 87th minute goal in the last game, his second goal in as many matches. He will be the man they look up to again, with goals drying up for lead scorer Emmanuel Dennis. Watford do not have a clean sheet in the last 19 matches, while both teams have scored in eight of their last 10 games.

Norwich City revived their survival hopes with a 2-1 home win over Everton and will be looking to rise from the red zone for the first time this season with a win here. There has been some positivity in the Norwich camp lately, with a win over Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup then the victory over Everton. Two wins in three games is solid ground for them to build on and the fact that they’ve failed to score in three of their last five matches should come as a big concern. Norwich will however look at this as an opponent they can overcome though five straight losses to Watford ahead of this game should worry Dean Smith. In the last seven meetings, Norwich have managed just one win over Watford. Their away form isn’t the best either, as they come to this game with three straight away losses in the league and a four-game winless run.
