Watford have a tough task ahead of them when they welcome Manchester City to Vicarage Road for Premier League action on Tuesday night. The Hornets are 17th in the table, three points clear of Bournemouth and Aston Villa. City are second in the table and set to finish there as Liverpool have long been confirmed as champions. However, their spot already being cemented doesn't mean that they have taken their foot off the gas. To the contrary, City have been in incredible scoring form since losing the title, hitting 16 goals in their last five league matches. Watford know all about the might of City's attack. They have lost their last 12 matches in all competitions against City - a run that dates back several years - and the last few defeats have been particularly heavy. Three of the last six City wins against Watford has seen them score at least six goals, the most recent meeting being an 8-0 battering at the Etihad.

Watford were making good progress in their goal of pulling away from the drop-zone with two wins before a midweek defeat to West Ham. They are a much stronger side at home than they are away, winning three of their last five matches at Vicarage Road. Scoring has been a problem for much of the season but they have found the back of the net in their last three games. While we can see Watford scoring, we can City scoring more. Pep's side have been surprisingly poor away from home this season and have lost four of their last six away games. Yet their strong record against Watford suggests another big win is incoming.
