Watford vs Chelsea Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Watford have been blowing hot and cold for most of the season. They were in the top four after winning their first four league games of the season but then form slumped. They're on a hot period at present after beating Cardiff City and West Ham in their last two league games but that followed a run of six without a win. Home form has been patchy with four defeats in the last six and it's difficult to predict just which Watford team will turn up for this encounter with Chelsea. A few goals look likely though and the last eight home league games have all seen over 2.5 goals scored in them.

Chelsea remain fourth in the table but after a loss to Leicester City on Saturday are only above Arsenal on goal difference. They are likely to be outside the top four by the time this game begins as Arsenal play earlier in the day at Brighton and Hove Albion. The Londoners had looked as if they might mount a title challenge under their new boss but the last seven matches have seen them lose three times and they trail leaders Liverpool by 11 points. Away form has seen Chelsea lose two of the last three with six goals conceded. The best bet here seems to be to go for over 2.5 goals to be scored.
