Watford vs Arsenal Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This is no end of season game and there's plenty at stake for both teams. Watford start the weekend in 10th place in the English Premier League but only one point adrift of the seventh place that could get them into the Europa League next season. It's all a bit complicated because of the possibility of a side outside the top four winning the Europa League. Anyway, Watford also have the FA Cup final to win so it could be a big season for them. Watford have lost three of their last five league games but won their last one at home to relegated Fulham. They are unbeaten in their last five home league games and won the last three. 11 of their 15 home league matches this season have had over 2.5 goals scored in them.

Arsenal are fifth in the Premier League at the time of writing and a point behind the top four but with a game in hand on Chelsea. A defeat for Chelsea at Liverpool would be a big boost for the Gunners. Another would be improving their away league record. It was terrible last year but improved earlier in the season. Recent months have seen a dip in form though with just one win in the last nine away league games and that was at Huddersfield Town. They need to win this game but it's being played on a Monday, just three days before the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final at Napoli, it'll be interesting to see what team they put out. A bet on over 2.5 goals in the game looks a likely winner.
