Atletico Madrid have an exciting end to their season lined up. They had an easy win on Thursday to reach the last eight of the Europa League and are second in La LIga. They are eight points behind unbeaten Barcelona but seven ahead of third placed Real Madrid. Atletico have scored 11 goals in their last three games since a vital 1-0 defeat to Barcelona that has severely damaged their hopes of winning La Liga. The loss to the league leaders is their only one in their last 11 league matches and away from home Atletico have won nine out of 14 conceding just eight goals.

Villarreal are sixth in La Liga and that's the last Europa League qualification place. They face a battle to hold onto it though being just a point ahead of Girona and four above Betis. Recent form has seen Villarreal lose two of their last three games but they did get a win over Las Palmas who are in the relegation zone. Home form has produced seven league victories but they have been beaten in two of their last three home league matches as well as defeat by Lyon in the Europa League. Atletico are the clear form side and they can get an important away win.
