This week has seen second seeded Ekaterina Alexandrova again in good form in the Libema Open. The quarter-finals of this outdoor grass court tournament sees her take on the eighth seed Veronika Kudermetova. Here's our match prediction.
Alexandrova clearly enjoys her visit to the Netherlands. A win over Kudermetova will take the Russian into her fourth successive Libema Open semi-final. The 30-year-old is a two-time champion here, winning the title in 2022 and 2023.
Alexandrova is 18th in the live rankings but only ten players have earned more ranking points than her in 2025. A win here will take Alexandrova into her fifth semi-final of the year with one title victory.
